Rev It! Williamsburg WP Jacket: An urban, parka style motorcycle jacket

It has a parka style which gives it a very urban look, and a classic scooter rider style. It is longer than the usual motorcycle jacket and will look great when you’re off the bike as well. It has a straight fit and is the men’s version of the new Metropolitan jacket, apart from the tailoring, the only other difference is the angle of the pockets. The internal thermal liner made of polyester for warming you up, does not extend the whole way down. This is on purpose because the more layers you are sitting on, the more uncomfortable and unstable you will be.

Protection is abundant in the Williamsburg. The use of Polycotton 2L for the outer shell makes the outer waterproof and it will soak up so little water that it will drip dry when you get to where you’re going. The inside also has waterproofing in the form of a Hydratex Lite liner which offers both waterproofing and breathability so you don’t end up all sweaty when you have the removable thermal liner in place. The thermal liner is held in with buttons, rather than the usual zipper. The outer material offers abrasion resistance but the main protection is courtesy of the SeeSmart CE-level 1 armour at the elbows and the shoulders. SeeSmart armour is highly flexible and comfortable to wear, while still offering the same CE level protection of other armour. The Williamsburg is ready to take the SeeSoft CE-level 2 back armour in the RV shape. For better visibility, a reflection strip has been laminated onto the back.

Stand out features of the Williamsburg include the removable hood, which is great for when you’re off the bike and want to look all 90s Brit pop. The hood itself has special features, like little eyelets that allow the rain water to drain out, so when you have it attached but aren’t wearing it, it does not act like a bucket. Adjustment straps at the hood and tabs at the cuffs make your size a perfect fit. A large number of pockets means you will always have your essentials on you as you ride or walk, including stash pockets, chest pockets, inner pockets, a phone pocket, a Napoleon pocket and more!
